CBI & Max Value

The  Centre for the Promotion of Imports from developing countries (CBI) promotes and facilitates export from developing countries to the EU. Businesses form these countries receive support on multiple areas among which sustainability. Max Value provided CBI with an overview of sustainable risks and impacts in the fruits and vegetables, fish and seafood, cocoa and coffee sector. Max Value also helped with adapting of internal procedures and tools and made sure that they better matched with the daily practice of small and medium sized companies in developing countries and better aligned with the OECD Guidelines for multinational enterprises and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN.
