About Max Value
Max Value is literally about values. Maximizing and balancing of social, environmental and economic values are important when striving for a sustainable economy. Max Value aims to contribute via the offering of consultancy and training.
Max Value provides advice and training because sustainability gets more and more attention but also because sustainability is not always easy. Knowledge and inspiration are needed to get ahead. It provides an organization with solid ground, energy, goals and vision. Max Value makes often abstract and technical sustainability concepts accessible and understandable. Inspiration is unlocked and is translated to practical steps.
In the course of time Max Value acquired expertise and practical know how on the topics mentioned below:
- The development of sustainable strategies and business models
- Sustainable supply chain management and sustainable procurement
- Sustainable garments and footwear
- Sustainable agriculture
- Business and human rights
- Environmental and human rights due diligence
- Certification, standards and audits
- Organic and Fairtrade production
- Living wage
- SA8000
The mentioned knowledge was acquired thanks to the often long term cooperation with a diverse range of customers. Both large and small. From the Netherlands and abroad. Profit and not for profit.
In the field of training, Max Value cooperates with others like Social Accountability International (SAI). Max Value is an official lead trainer of SAI. Together with SAI a training program was developed on the implementation of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights in the supply chain of businesses. Max Value delivered the training in the Netherlands, Denmark, India, Brazil and the US. Currently joint training is being delivered on living wage. These trainings can be joined in Amsterdam or New York. Other long term partners of Max Value include the Social Economic Council of the Netherlands (SER) and Tommy Hilfiger.
And the approach of Max Value? The approach could be described as professional, service-oriented and ‘pragmatic idealistic’.
"In my work I want to inspire and be inspired. By the vision and quality of myself and others and through taking and leaving the best of changing worlds. I will stay close to my hart and vision and will not limit myself by structures or cynicism. Trying to make a difference together via small steps or large concepts, driven by passion for sustainable economic development and innovation”.
